Turmeric is becoming a very popular health-promoting spice, and for good reason. Its benefits include support of immune and brain health, purification of blood, and maintenance of healthy skin. It helps to cleanse and strengthen the digestive system. It also calms and tones joint tissue to allow for comfortable movement. Turmeric is ideal for those with Kapha constitution or imbalance, though it is balancing for all Doshas.
